Facebook mau buka kantor di Indonesia

Indonesia is one of the top five countries worldwide in terms of Facebook users, and recently, rumors have spread that the California-based company is gearing up to open an office in Indonesia later this year.

Facebook has hired Daud I. Aditirto, formerly director of business development for Opera Software, to be its growth manager for Indonesia. Despite the description on the job vacancy listing, Aditirto will be based in Jakarta, reporting to the Singapore office.

Indonesia may be one of the countries with the largest number of Facebook users in the world but until today Facebook has yet to set up an office in the country – although it's not entirely necessary. Several recent information however indicate that Facebook may well finally do just that. This morning we received word that Facebook is looking for a growth manager for Indonesia, a position based in Facebook's office in Singapore.

Seiring dengan dinyatakannya Indonesia sebagai salah satu negara 'kunci sukses' Facebook hingga saat ini, ada rumor yang mengatakan bahwa Facebook akan mendirikan kantor resmi di Indonesia.

Hal ini menyusul sebuah pernyataan dari Kepala Bagian Komunikasi Facebook Asia Pasifik, Charlene Chian, yang dilansir Mashable (20/6), dengan mengungkapkan bahwa pihaknya ingin lebih dekat dengan para pengguna Facebook di Indonesia.
